Dr. Sue Sharma

 Owner and Dentist

Dr. Sharma received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Iowa, College of Dentistry and also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Manipal University in India. She has been a passionate practitioner of the dental profession with over a decade of international experience as a clinician in private dental practice providing quality care. Dr. Sharma is honored to also serve as an adjunct faculty member in the department of Family Dentistry at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). Believing that we should never stop learning, she seeks out opportunities to expand her knowledge through continuing education and building upon her expertise. Dr. Sharma enjoys volunteering her time at the Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) and other community dental health events. Dr. Sharma was born in Florida and grew up in India where her parents had moved to when she was young. On returning back to the US, she decided to settle in the Midwest and now calls Iowa City home where she lives along with her husband and their two school-going kids aged 17 and 7 years. When not at work or spending time with her family, Dr. Sharma enjoys cooking, nature walks, practicing yoga and traveling. 

Dr. Sharma understands that her patients are not all the same. She doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach when addressing your oral health. She believes in a personalized, comprehensive approach and welcomes patients of all ages.

Dr. Ann D. Harris

Dentist
Dr. Ann grew up in La Grange, IL, and was one of 10 children. After graduating from La Grange High School, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in Dental Hygiene Education.

Dr. Ann moved to Washington in 1979 with her husband, Dr. Jim Harris. They worked side by side as Harris and Harris Dental for over 30 years. Now, Dr. Ann is an adjunct professor in the Kirkwood Dental Hygiene program at the University of Iowa Dental Clinics.

She is a fellow in American College of Dentists and a recipient of the Pierre Fauchard State Award, a former Speaker of the House of Delegates with the Iowa Dental Association, Political Action Chair, S.E. District past officer, and Washington County Dental Officer. She is also a member of numerous organizations in the Washington community.

Dr. Ann has three grown children and one granddaughter.
